I never realised that the Church of England had no stated beliefs or aims with regards to other faiths, especially Muslims. I had always understood that even non-religious people accepted that both Christianity and Islam were faiths which aimed to convert people. It seems extrordindary that the Church of England has not sought to try to share the Good News with Muslims more actively.

I understand that some people find the idea of evangelising offensive in this modern secular state. But those people are not religious, and would happily sideline faith completely. But you cannot blame Christians for wanting to share the life changing power of Jesus’ resurrection.

But for some in the church to be opposed to reaching practioners of other faiths suggests that they really do not understand the full message of the Gospel.
