If Jesus had a website has started a new series on church website longevity.

There tend to be four of factors that play into extending site longevity: design, usability, utility, and technology. Over the course of this series, we will be exploring ways to improve our sites for the future in these key areas.

They first look at design. But instead of looking at aesthetics, they suggest the key ideas for design longevity are more simple and less intangible.

I have looked at the church website from a future updating point of view as I was concerned about what would happen when I leave the church, but this article has encouraged me to look at other points rather than just the mechanics of updates and changes to a site.
